====== Laundry Powder (Introduction) ======

Lave Laundry Poweder is an effective cleaning solution. It is specifically designed to minimize irritation to your skin, while protecting our environment.

Contrary to popular belief bubbles are not necessary for cleaning. Unlike hash chemical treatments, Lave Laundry Powder is a bubbless cleaning solution. Lave Laundry Powder effectively removes grease, oil and wine stains. The formula is a powerful organic cleaning solution for you and your community.

Lave Laundry Powder is an non-plutonium based organic cleaning solution. Ingredients used in production are food grade with the exception of the pure essential oils added for fragrance and cleaning power. 

====== Laundry Poweder (Usage Instructions) ======

===== Washing Machine Solution =====

  - Add clothes to washing machine
  - Add 1 Tbsp of Lave Laundry Powder for a 7Kg machine
  - If you have a fabric softener compartment add 1/4 cup of Lave Organic Fabric Conditioner
  - Refer to your washing machine manual for machine cleaning and maintenance information.
  - For extremely soiled items double the amount of Lave Laundry Powder.

===== Soaking Solution =====

  - In a bucket or large container 1 Table spoon of organic Laundry Powder power.
  - In the bucket dissolve the Laundry Powder with approximately 2 L of warm water.  
  - Soak clothes in this solution over a night.
  - Wash clothes using a washing machine (normal cycle).
  
  * This soaking solution is suitable for reusable baby and senior diapers, as well as reusable (period) napkins.

===== Spray Solution =====

  - In a spray bottle, dissolve 1 small spoon of Lave Laundry Powder  in approximately 500ml of warm water. 
  - Spray onto areas of clothing where extra cleaning is required (i.e. collar on shirts, heal of socks) 
  - Wash in a washing machine on a normal cycle.

===== Recommendations =====
If you have sensitive skin or suffering from any skin issues, avoid petroleum based detergents including laundry power, tooth paste, shampoo, body soap, dish washing power, dishwashing liquid, house hold cleaning detergents, etc...

It could be one or more of these other products which is the root cause of your skin irritation. Before purchasing detergents or body care products, carefully check the ingredients list and avoid any products which contain non organic chemicals such as SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulphate), phthalates, silicones, EDTA, glycol or petroleum derived ingredients etc. These chemicals can be highly irritating to people with sensitive skin or to those who have reached their allergic capacity.

===== Warning =====

Laundry Poweder is not soap. It is a non petroleum based chemical. It is however quite concentrated. Avoid contact with your skin, even when mixed with water. Essentially the mixture creates oxygen bubbles which remove dirt and stains.

Laundry Poweder is color safe. However, there are many types of dies used for coloring fabric, depending upon the die used in your fabric you may find that it will remove some of the color. If this is the case, you should add more water so that the concentration is not as strong. If you are still losing color then simply use Lave soap instead.
